Just passed my full test today!!! Only 28 years of riding (16 on road) to get around to it
I did it at Porirua, and got the same tester as my restricted and due to the timing of the changeover, I ended up doing almost exactly the same test for a second time! The Porirua test centre has a lower booking rate than the Kilbirnie one, and so you can get a test much more quickly there. I also prefer the roads around that test centre.
It was a short trip out to the Titahi Bay direction, with a u-turn and hill start on the side roads.
To shorten the waiting period in between I did a Street Talk course with A1 Driving in Lyall Bay - it was actually quite useful and the practical session with Andrew from RoadSafe helped pick up a couple of issues that would have meant my bike would have possibly failed the test check (crack in front tire and one slow turn indicator in particular)...
I'm keeping my current bike (CD250U) for a while as it's great for around town and commuting, but I've also got an XF650 ready to go for longer days and trips... :niceone:
**I know 6f doesn't exist as such, but it's a convenient shorthand...
