Pure curiousity... how come women don't go crazy over wheelies?! If anything we should be primo at them :msn-wink:
Are there any other women out there pulling stunts??

?
I disagree.
women should be terrible at wheelies, because women are unbalanced . . .

I would do wheelies if I had the skill level to. But alas, I don't and am unsure if I may ever. If you have the natural skills to work on it can go a long way, but when one is an unco retard like myself, we must respect our limits and not do (any more) dumb shit. Whould LOVE to be at the lights next to that van load of dribbling dick heads on the highway looking at that "girl on the bike" beside them, then pull off in a decent wheelie. For no one else but me to feel good for a second, and have a laugh. But I know my limits, and they are well below par. Stink.
There are some ladies out there who do wheelies are look damn good doing them too. Think it's awesome to see (you know who you are). I'm just jealous

you learned to ride a bike in the first place. in doing so, you learned a vast number of unique skills you did not previously have.
You (hoefully) took a pragmatic, careful approach with a smooth learning curve to learn each skill as you progressed through.
No different to learning to wheelie.
whether learning to ride, or learning to wheelie, its the same, be arrogant and go at it like a bull at a gate, youre much more likely to fuck it up.
take it slow, dont get cocky, and take your time, you have a very good chance of learning to do either with a high degree of success.
I stand by the unbalanced comment though:laugh:

...maybe girls realise that two wheels on the tarmac is how bikes were designed to run...maybe they are easier on their machines...maybe they dont have the, 'look at me, look at me' syndrome...but I cannot bring myself to say,...'maybe they are not as silly as the boyz'....
...bugga ,I did..

Some of us are a little crazier than others and definitely are not easy on our machines
Sorry to say though that the only wheelies I have achieved were accidental. Would love to learn how to wheelie but I have the same prob as KP - I am unco as f*ck!

Are you friggin kidding me!?!:weird:
...just gotta read some of the threads on here to realise how many are primarily focused on the "look at me"!! factor
And stupidity doesn't discriminate!
Cause they have pussies.
Here, fixed that for you

...all prefixed with maybes...it is a fact though that lots of industry, ie the mines in oz prefer women to handle the big machines as they dont break them as much as the blokes...all meaningless shite though...I know as many blokes that may as well have pussies and lotsa girls that would be far safer on the planet if they only realised their balls were figments of their imagination...

I do stunts EVERYDAY!
I arrive safely at work having not been taken out by all the twits on the road!
Seriously though, the accidental wheelies are happening more and more now. Think I need my good female friend the wheelie machine to give me some lessons on how to do it proper like!

Also stunting is obviously a male dominated area, it's quite hard as a chick to pop a wee wheelie only to have the guys turn around and take the piss. Come on chicks popping wheelies is primo, we've all got to start from somewhere!
Haha "unbalanced"... built in airbags are an added bonus ;) If you don't try you will never learn, grow some ovaries!

To be fair though. The group of people I ride with, take the piss out of all but good wheelies. It isn't meant to be discouraging, it's just taking the piss.
More power to anyone trying to wheelie.

Generalisation: women tend to have a more highly evolved sense of self preservation. Practicing stunts is a recipe for lots of crashes.
I for one couldn't afford all the repairs to my bike (or body) from my unsuccessful efforts.
I'm happy to be a pussy. Prrrrr prrrrrr.

You'd hit the sink if you pulled a wheelie wouldn't you? 'Tis man work!

Women should all be excellent at wheelies, they claim to be able to multitask better than blokes, and when doing a wheelie there is defo more than one thing going on to do it right.
Have I just proved that women are lying about thier multitasking abilities.... hard to practice popping mono's while chained to a sink...

Its only male dominated, due to ladies being reluctant to give it a go.
But as for being laughed at because your a girl!...come on!...everyone gets the piss taken out of them when they "stuff it up"...it has nothing to do with "being a chick" (Or your hangin around with some dicks!...excuse the pun:facepalm:)
....once again, you just ride a bike!...like alot of other human beings do, being a female does not makes this "feat" special!
You ladies need to stop using your gender as an excuse, or a reason to expect praise and special treatment for everyday acts...and just get on with what you enjoy &...riding!:niceone: (or in this case, poppin mean as wheelies :Punk:)
Respect to my KB sisters:yes:...but don't be expecting special treatment or praise due to your gender...you get that because you ride like the rest of us :msn-wink:
PS: Don't let the popo catch ya in the wheelie act!...the "fun tax" has got ridiculous!...just ask 98tl  (3 months loss of licence PLUS the fine...and a smack on the head from his wife:pinch::laugh:)

My green as grass n00b girlfriend would lurve to learn how to pop a wheelie. So if anybody with the skills ( & a bike!!!) is coming up, I have a volunteer.
I'm happy to watch, always was shite, always will be.
