Great clips mate,i posted one up the other day,fwiw it was 1971,Agostini won in 69.

Great clips indeed thanks but definitely not 1969 as I was there and Malcolm Uphill won the production TT on a Thruxton Bonneville! Agostini won the 500 class. Still have the programme with all the entrants and their bikes :laugh:

Umm... the sad bastard on the TT circuit with the orange T shirt, green cardigan and suede boots is me :no:

Well I'm not going to argue with someone who was there at the time :) I've never been it's on my list of things to do before I die. Thats a great picture by the way looking very sharp!

Doubt whether Ross Hannan shares your opinion, he got badly mashed in a multi-bike crash at Union Mills in a mass start race in 1970, poor bugger. I think the joint's probably tricky enough without factoring traffic into the equation...:drool:

dead right there, it was a strange move to say the least, fortunately short lived.

Sad bastard ? Nay lad, I can only see a very lucky bastard being at any IOM, any year, in any gear.

It's nice to be back on a Triumph though after a gap of around 40 years, even if I can't pull the chicks as per photo! :rolleyes:
