Hello guys,
I am thinking to do my full licence test, but not sure what will be in the test.
Can anyone give me some idea about the practical test please???
Cheers!!

It will be exactly the same as the restricted you did. They recently swapped the tests around so the old full test is the new restricted and vice versa

Cool, but I was convert overseas motorcycle licence to NZ motorcycle licence so I don't need to sit restricted test lol..
Therefore, I don't know what does the test like..

You just ride some roads listening for directions through an ear piece they give you. If you have been riding for a few months and you know our road code you have nothing to worry about.
Things to remember:
Feet down at stop signs to show that you have actually stopped.
Practice your u-turns. The narrower the road the better. Remember to indicate properly.
Obey all speed limits in the test. Even 30kph roadwork signs when there are no obvious roadworks.
Relax and take things slowly.

All of the above + exagerated head movements to show that you are looking in your mirrors and at your surroundings

Don't forget to display your throttle control skills with the occassional wheelie. And maybe a rolling burnout or two, just to be on the safe side.

Also, at a round-about that you are going straight through, indicate after you have passed the left turn exit ie just before you come off your exit. It is a straight forward test with no tricky stuff that lasts about 30 minutes

ALWAYS make sure that you stop at any stop sign for at least 3 seconds so there can't be any doubt as to whether or not you have come to a complete stop. Even if you roll through at 0.5kmh, you'll likely fail the test.
When going past a side street, turn your head to look down the side street to check for hazards.

Thanks for your reply, guys. :msn-wink:
I am now working on my test preparation now.
Did NZTA remove the condition that can't ride over 70 km/h with learner conditions??
Cheers lads

Thats only required in the restricted test ... doing it on the full licence test is just showing off ...

[The 70 k rule went last October. Thankfully. It was the worst rule, and left bikers as sitting ducks on the motorway in lane 1. If you would like a pretest lesson, give me a shout, and I could make sure that you will pass the test first time.
