Hi all.Just joined and was wondering how many other 900 hornet owners there are within the Auckland/north area? I live in Warkworth and keen to have a chat/catch up with other owners.chrs-jeff

Welcome to the swarm! Plenty of Big Ol'Hornet riders buzzing about! :msn-wink: There is a swarm meet (which includes all other makes and models!) on Mondays (outside Auckland City Library at 6pm) and of course, others will come out of the woodwork (because Hornet owners are like that! :innocent:)

:woohoo: Ride on!

Hello, long time no see?

Greets!. yes I see you upgraded "Anniversary Speed Triple"

I now have 2 x 900's. They are still FUN! how is the Triple ownership experience? I am somewhat afraid to leave the "reliable" Honda badge.

Considering a K1300R at the moment.

Give it a pipe and MX bars.

And then if you can afford, an Ohlins rear. Then you will be laughing!:killingme

Any hints as to what is the best way to go for aftermarket pipes? I'd like to keep the look of the twin pipes but understand it will cost more.

I got custom chambers (East tamiki, Auckland) to fit their pipes with factory heat shield over the top... sounds great / looks factory / revs better.

Overseas ....... That's where I got my Yoshis from.

Remember unless under NZ$400 incl shipping you will b up for GST and customs clerance.

USA sites refer to it as a Honda 919 or CB900/919

Budget end search DanMoto, Ebay always has a few, Starcycle USA ship international and i think have a flat rate on shipping.
Blueflameperformance.com is english - watch exchange rate.

Cycle Works in Welly advertise Hornet 900 pipes on Trademe quite often.

I have Scorpion pipes which sound amazing :bleh: I will probably be taking them off my Hornet before I sell it... if you were interested.
