Condolences mate...I feel the same way about my old guzzi :weep:

I had a little 400 v4 many moons ago, great wee engine!, but Ive always wanted this model (94-97)...I think they are easily one of the best all round bikes ever made!.

But they just don't come up for sale very often, so when I saw this one I jumped, and contacted a certain KB member who is selling it for his mate....then made him an offer he couldn't refuse.....A straight swap for my 2001 midnightstar! 1600cc roadstar cruiser.

Yeah Yeah...Im crazy & stupid:weird:...losing money blah blah....but I dont care! (mine only owes me $5700 due to scoring a deal...and it needs to go back to yamaha for a recall on the gearbox...but yamaha are paying!:msn-wink:)

The previous owner broke his back and can't ride the VFR much anymore, so its sat for 2yrs in storage (gets started etc and has been well cared for)....but the guy CAN ride a cruiser, so this way he ends up on one HELL of a comfy cruiser and gets to ride full time again :2thumbsup

So even tho the VFR has 58k MILES on it (nearly run in! lol), its in good nick, been well looked after and hes giving it a FULL service, new battery, fluids, etc etc and even delivering it to picton for me

I could get the gearbox done and sell the roadstar for a nice wee profit etc...but this deal makes two bikers happy, and gets one back on the road...besides...I go to work to make money, not sell bikes!

Ride safe mate :niceone:

Willy

PS...getting rid of the roadstar because its just not me!...I just don't like it!, its a great bike and it goes amazing n all that...but Im a sport bike guy...not a cruiser rider, and the shattered shoulder should be able to handle the VFR ride position...I hope!

LOL....the waiting is killing me! (and thats just for the new pic's and confirmation of the service etc being done )

But with the new baby due in 2-3 weeks it WAS a hard call to wait lol

Send my best to Rob mate and let him know his beast is still thundering along perfectly every day, and yes...Im really looking forward to the end of june :niceone:

Cheers again for everything mate, hope the leg is healing up well
