Im going to get my rear shock rebuilt as its lacking in the oil department. I want to get a stronger spring for it as im a fat bastard and when I sit on it I go through half its travel. Wheres the best/cheapest place to buy? And how do I work out what rate I need?

If I've been reading your previous posts correctly the 82 XR 200 has a XR250 shock fitted so is this still true? An easy fix would be to fit a XR500/600 spring assuming the shocks are the same.
Eibach do a vast range of springs just check there web site for fitment.

Well that is what I was told. But as everything else I was told was rubbish who knows. I will check with the guy doing the shock as he will have to work it out for bits.

It does when you sit on it...
You should get a stiffer spring, that'll sort it out.
