The trans Atlantic challenge thread got me sniffing about. Want to see a wheelie or two? Kenny Roberts & Randy Mamola comparing testicles.

Yeah great clip that. I posted it a while ago...but don't think many people watched it. They should! a 500 smoker engine before they started spinning them the other way was a wheelie matic!

Oops. Repost... My bad. Your posting of the Honda Flat Tracker was partly to blame too... Jaw dropping stuff IMHO. Looks like show boating at times, but....

It's still hosing down & blowing a hoolie so I'm going to watch it again. (No Sky tv at my hoose so the Moto GP thread is just cruel & unusual punishment)

Who cares 'bout the odd repost? I don't. Mate...pay the 75 odd Euros and join MotoGP.com. Best money you can spend. You can then watch as many old races as you like.

Do it. It's an awesome site. You then get to watch every single practice/qualifying session of every class at every round. Live. Without being fucked around by Sky.

He's full of shit. He hated Rainey and bitched and moaned with the best of them. By the way...has anyone seen Schwantz with a chick?

Well he turned up at Rainey's house to take his sister out back in the day. That went down like a cup of cold sick when Wayne answered the door.

Clearly Kenny Mike & Randy said lets put on a show for the crowd & race last 3 laps. Kenny being the professional wasn't going to hang out a risk where Mike & Randy pulled some sweet wheelies. Wait & let the others scrub their tyres out.

Yep Crasher that's the one all the big names going at banging fairings, crossing lines, late braking just like a good 125 race but on 200hp 500's I think they all lead at one stage the tyres were gone the bravest won. Awesome to see the scandanavian flick front end pushing with the back spinning in a big arc through the corners, the only traction control a riders right wrist.

He's had his lil knives out for Stoner ever since Stoner handed Rossi's arse to him on a plate. He's got worse since Rossi took over Stoner's Ducati and looked queer. Stoner has won more races than Kevin, twice as many titles, has beaten Rossi more than Rossi has beaten him, and won more Moto GP races than anyone else since he started in the class. Kevin should lick his girl juice stained balls. Make a change from the poo smeared ones he's used to licking. I remember seeing Kevin at an after race conference wearing a cap that had written on it "Lick my balls".

Bet Rossi has and vice verca. Kevin is sounding oh so jealous.

Be that as it may(but your still talking shit) the irony is that Schwantz is a legend not just because of his rivalry with Rainey and their battles but also that he had to over ride a bike that no one else could of.Much like Stoner and the Duke except when it came down to it Casey got his arse handed to him when the real pressure was applied (your still seeing it now ie, the last two races...and he's on the best fucken bike in the paddock)unlike Schwantz who toughed it out and that has ensured he will always have more admirers and fans than Casey will ever have...sad but true.

Big difference being Mark, this is a site where we wind each other up about our fav racers etc. I don't have a collum on a website viewed by millions where I slag off a guy on a regular basis that's achieved more than I ever did.

PS: What makes you think the Honda is the best race bike out there? Looks to me the Yamaha is. Fastest in a straight line (normally the Ducati by the way) doesn't = best. Thought you might've sussed that one out by now!

So unhitch ya panties. Seems you like throwing mud my way 'bout Stoner, but can't hack it when some comes back your way 'bout Schwantz.

Agreed!Best equals all-round package and ease of riding,Honda's millions and Repsol backing has ensured this for years.Unfortunately they hav'nt had a decent championship contender until Casey last year. This year they still do have the "best" bike but your man is just being plain outridden by Lorenzo at the mo.

So unhitch ya panties. Seems you like throwing mud my way 'bout Stoner, but can't hack it when some comes back your way 'bout Schwantz.

Truth be told I have admired Casey's riding talent since he was on the KTM 125.And I agree with a lot of what he is saying regarding the future direction of MotoGP and why he is retiring.
But my slagging off of Casey is always in regards to his riding not his personal/private life bacause basically on a motorcycling forum i'm not interested in any it ...something you have said numerous times.
And something a man of Schwantz's integrity would never stoop to.

Is this Kevin Schwantz who is extremely racist we're talking about here? Such integrity!! Think you need to lighten up a bit.

And for the record, I have every bit as much respect for Lorenzo's skills as I do Stoners. I simply don't think he's as exciting to watch.

Crasherfromwayback

And something a man of Schwantz's integrity would never stoop to.

Now I've gotta tell ya Mark...Schwantz must be plain blind or a fucking liar if he couldn't see Stoner was physically ill when he came in after those races before he skipped three. He nearly had to be lifted off the bike. He'd been vomiting in his helmet, and was grey in colour and week as piss. Now don't be telling me Schwantz is a Doctor in his part time either. So I always found these comments odd, when Schwantz wouldn't know what the fuck was wrong with Stoner. But he should've been able to see he was seriously sick, and a danger to anyone else on the track if he'd tried to race on. But oh no...

Dean Adams: Can you touch on the Casey Stoner situation a little bit, a lot of mysterious stories going around at the moment. You've been to several MotoGP races this season, what have you heard, what have you seen, what do you think?

Kevin Schwantz: Well I guess first of all what I've heard and what I've seen is that Casey's been struggling with some type of an illness, whether it was a stomach bug or whatever, at a bunch of the earlier grand prix that I went to. Of course the last one I went to at the Czech Republic he wasn't there, still with no form of illness that's been diagnosed by any doctors that I've heard, anyway.

As a rider, my gut feeling is Casey needs to be out there competing. This championship, when he made a tire choice at Donington which seemed to be a little bit off of the norm, had him right at the top of it. I mean, he didn't need to be making a gamble on tires like that when he was in the championship hunt. For me that told me there was more going on with Casey than just "you know I don't really feel all that good but I'm finding a way to perform." And for me, to have signed a contract whenever it was, beginning of this year, beginning of last year, whenever it was, you're signing a contract to compete unless something is medically wrong with you. I'm out there doing the best that I can, whether I can give 100% every weekend is kind of another question.

For me it's a real disappointment. I think Casey's a great competitor and I think ... maybe a little bit more of this has something to do with something behind the scenes that none of us quite yet know about. Maybe that's some Stoner hard feelings towards Ducati or towards the series or I don't exactly know what it's going to be. But to just decide to skip three race and see if you feel any better at the end of it to me is a little bit out of the norm.

Bit rich coming from a guy that quit three races into the 1995 season wouldn't ya think?

By this event, KR had been retired from active racing for nearly 2 years....

KR has been married twice - first wife was Pam and they got married early, and got divorced around the early 80's I think. She was never really fussed about racing IIRC.... so you'd have hardly seen her! KR being bent is like trying to convince me the sun comes up in the west....:killingme

I found an article a while back in an old Cycle mag (who can remember those!) written by Danny Coe. He was supposed to ride that YZR the next day but Kenny broke the gear box in the second leg.
