Good choice. I have had a few quiets there with my brother as he lives across the road from the bar.

Well, there goes Welly! Just aint never gunna be the same again.Come on you lot, the chance to actually see a KB stalwart and have a beer with him, wasn't fer me broke leg and the small matter of a few Hundred K's I'd go, just to give him some good ol fashioned cheek.
One day Scummy, one day. had a trip to ChCh lined up this month but broke the left paddle and can't ride for a bit, enjoy the Windy place , yeah, I know, it's Wellington, suck it up boyo.

OK, Scummy wasn't a total outcast and a few Wellington KBers turned up to socialise with him. Not quite so many as back in 2008 but a pleasant gathering all the same.

264987 That's Gareth51 with scumdog.

264988 sels1 with MD.

264989 Katiepie with Paul in NZ

264990 merv, Mrs merv and Mrs Paul in NZ.

264991 wayne708 with MD.

That's all I saw before I left so not sure if any others dropped in later. Enjoy the rest of your stay in the great city of Porirua Mr scumdog.

Bunch of raving sifters!

Which actually means the ones I've met (nearly all of them) are GC's. Hate using that term now that gayer than gay program is infecting the tv channels.

No problem Hawkeye, shame you weren't there, but at least we could talk about you instead.

A BIG thank you to all you Norf Islanders :eek:especially the Wellywooders, Selsi and his fanau, other likely ones, :weird:for treating my man :cool:with the respect he deserves:2guns: and who knows in another 4 years, I may let him return!:baby::2thumbsup:clap: Of course you are all welcome to the same treatment :doctor:when you get down to the Shez scumdog's:msn-wink:

Thanks normajeane, I was telling your man the only place in NZ we (me and Mrs merv) have not been is around the Catlins (don't know how we've missed that) so who knows we may pass down the Riviera way one day.

As for you crasher, you should have been there too, it just left us to talk about you when we weren't talking about Hawkeye. You are right about GC too, I said to Katiepie the people that turned up at the Sandbar the one thing about them is that they are exactly the same in real life as they are on line - none of that keyboard warrior stuff from this lot.

Thanks to sels1 for organising the night again.

Well back in the wet'n'cold deep South again, nothing like being home! :D

C.B. met me at Dunners airport, we've had tea and I've had a McKenna or two (purely in the name of science).

Great to meet all you Lower-North-Island ladies and gentlemen of KB - and to meet Katie-pie and MD for the first time - all great 'real' people, just about good enough to be honorary South Islanders!

Thanks for the hospitality, in the words of Arnold: "I'll be back...":woohoo:

Hey scumdog. Really lovely to meet you. Have heard you were a top bloke to meet - now I know they were fibbing ;)

Good to have some decent laughs again with my favourite kiwibiker crew. Cheers Sels for the invite, really cool to meet some great new folk.

Yeah I reckon, not next week for me but sometime after that would be good, do you want to see who you can round up?

Can we relive the crowds of a few years ago do you think?
