This bike was bought to NZ by the original owner, from England. It has a Givi windshield, genuine Yamaha accessories; Chromed light shades, Chromed luggage frames and Yamaha leather saddlebags. Sissy bar.

I have taken it from 12,000miles to 24,000mls in 15 months. Have my service records regarding oil, filter, final drive oil servicing.Valves clearances. A new front tyre at 21,300m, the rear at 16,300mls. Rear still has plenty of tread. Both are Pirelli MT66's.

The bike has never been dropped. It is not a big motor as cruisers go, but will run all day in top gear from 30mph to 80mph. I cruise at 50-60 mph ( 80-100kph). It will run easerly at higher speeds but I'm happy to cruise at the speed limit. The exhaust is standard,

It is a heavy bike but corners damn well. The weight is why I am looking at changing. I'm 60, and with recent back problems, The 246kg weight is a handful when manouevering.

Which is why, I am keen to look at a swap for a 250-400 sports ( GSX, GPX ), a VL /Aprilla cruiser, or a DR/DT/XT 200-400 road/trail bike of the same value ( $5000). I've always enjoyed my small bikes.

The XVS 650 is on the list of LAMS bikes allowed for learners, which may suit a bigger person on a restricted licence who doesn't want a smallish light bike. I think it will still attract the higher rego costs tho'.

Don, This bike sold back in June. Only had it listed on Tme 2 days, and could've sold it 4 times over. I thought I had pulled the ad. Good luck with the 250, They are good bikes., Cheers, Arthur
