Good job that man.

like all these stories so much is unsaid. Repeatedly; more than once but does it mean the father punch the creep to a pulp or just three or four times until the creep stopped moving.
Either way it looks like they are doing right by the father and girl.

One thing we tend to leave out of the stiff upper lip British based legal system is justified passion/anger. Could have come under provocation but in the usual knee jerk because some creep fails to defend themselves with the excuse of provocation 'we' decide provocation should be removed from the books, in other words the system works so lets screw it.

If I were on the jury, I'd vote "President"...

Fixed it for ya :Punk:

Seriously though, you hear way too many stories of domestic abuse where people know but don't do anything about it. Probably not the best action but it stops the abuse and I bet it felt great.

First husband turned out to be a convicted KF. How I wish someone had :bash: the cowardly bastard while it was in prison instead of letting it out to repeat the process.

Real men will never understand how bastards like that can abuse wives and children. I for one stand up and :clap::clap::clap: that there are so many Real Men in the world.

Way to go Sis!
What really pisses me off is people making excuses for these bastards. I did it myself for a while, it was all my fault, if I changed he would be different. BULLSHIT.

If you know anyone who is being beaten, forced into sex, or emotionally abused - get them out and don't let them go back. And remember, it happens that females abuse men too.

Shit - that got heavy fast but you are quite right of course.

Biggest problem is us 'normal' people (and I'm using the word VERY loosely here) just cannot comprehend these kinds of actions so we sort of pretend they can't be happening.

Very true Paul. I don't hold it against anyone if s/he does not know what to do. In our case, even folk who were sure there was something going on and were in a position to act sooner, were stumbling around the best course of action.

Best advice from someone who has been there? Ask the person you think is being abused, if they say everything is fine but in your heart of hearts you know it's not- please go to police and ask to be referred to someone who knows how to deal with this type of situation. One day you will be thanked for interferring.

Speaking from personal experience of this very situation, you are perfectly correct. She went back repeatedly and he was supported by his parents who were in denial and believed him.

When I did step in and take her and refuse to let her go back, I was heavily criticised and condemned, but he would have killed her in the end. Now, years later, everyone but his parents are grateful, especially her as she would still have gone back.

People need to realise the control these scum have over the woman who, usually, believes it is her fault, as that is how the tyrant treats her.

Be aware of signs, such as abuse of animals, sulking if he can't get his own way immediately, criticising the partner and telling her she can't do anything right, being totally selfish, etc. Watch the reactions of the woman and how she is around him.

One such creep would simply say calmly, "We will talk.." and you knew by her reaction she was worried, even though she apologised immediately. We of course couldn't see what she had said that was wrong.

Sadly Ed, what you said is enough to give me chills. Terrible memories. The behaviour is so obvious from where I sit now.

There is no happiness in this story for any of the parties involved.

Good to read something positive in the world.

Link to newspaper article http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/more-news/texas-father-wont-be-charged-over-brutal-beating-death-of-daughters-alleged-molester/story-e6frf7lf-1226402751825

Long story short

Dude gets caught with his pants down (literally) about to molest a little girl. Father walks in and catches him, beats the shit out of him and he dies. Cops decide not to press charges.

With three daughters and my wife to look after, nothing would stop me doing what I had to do. There is no rehabilitation for this sort, just a final solution.

beaten, forced into sex, or abused.

Yeah, I'd like like my wife to do that to me once in a while ;(

I'll read that as an attempt at levity.

what goes on between consenting adults is none of my business. Folk pay a lot of money for that type of service.

Consenting adults is the key. Rape and beatings is not a joke.
