G'day,

got a shiny, red Yamaha TZR250 for sale. Nearly 43000km, four previous owners and in great condition considering the age (built in '86). WOF is running out some time in 2006, Reg got another couple of months to go.
Talking about the bike and its parts - engine is a quite powerful 2-stroke, works well and pulls you up Mt Pleasant in no time. Tyres are all good, front tyre is a Pirelli with heaps of thread left, rear tyre has just recently been changed. Suspension works great, no leaking oil or anything to worry about. Breaks are discs on both ends, not warped or anything, and stop you damn quickly, really.
The other bits 'n pieces are all in similar, good condition. The previous owner made some replacements for the WOF, I added a brandnew battery - can send more details via email or pm, if anyone is indeed interested.

I want $1700 Dollars - and remember, you're in for a solid, powerful learner's bike with the potential to entertain you far beyond your restricted license, guaranteed. You won't need any work in the near future, either, I'm sure you can ride it as it is way into 2006 and then might only need a new chain for 30 bucks.

Location is Mt Pleasant, Christchurch - for address and phonenumber please send mail/pm.

The tricky part is, that I'm going overseas this week and therefore am sorta anxious to get rid of the bike - tried bse and hat no luck at all. I considered taking it with me but the shipping fares to Europe left me dumbstruck.

Should you know someone who might be interested, please tell him/her or give me the contact details - it's a bargain, that's for sure. You'll get away a lot easier than, say, in summer when everyone suddenly wants a bike.

Last but not least, here's a picture of what you are in for, more on request.

Hi, I would definately like to buy it, but I currently am living in Welly and I don't have my learners yet, so can it be shipped to me in Welly?(Do you know how much is freight?)

Striker, call CycleMove Andy 0274226568 - or there's BikeTranz as well - I dont' have their number.

Good luck, and good luck Bayowar in selling this one. I know what you mean about shipping costs to EU (where are you going? I'm relocating to Prague in 5 weeks!)

Thanks for the interest, I'm afraid, I cannot possibly bring it to Wellington
myself, leaving the country today. I would have done it otherwise - liked the place and wanted to have another look at it before I leave. Anyhow, I got someone to sell it on my behalf - but I'm quite sure he doesn't want to organize
the shipping. Your one your own with that one, mate. If you can get someone
to pick it up it'll be all good.

Should anyone in ChCh just do practical tests at mainland driving school ask
them for the bike, I've got it sitting there. Figuered out that it is more tempting
when you can actually look at it straight away.
