Hey all I'm Rebecca, live just out of our windy capital. Thought I'd join and say hi as have been utilizing some of the great advice on here for a couple of years.
Starting to really take care of my wee GN250 myself now that I'm not a poor student, hoping to trade up some day soon!
Ain't no fair weather riders around here.

Welcome Rebecca nice to have another capital rider on KB. Look after that little 2 fiddy and it will look after you.
Enjoy the site.

It goes fast enough, i'm not big enough to make that much difference...
I had a 1989 Suzuki Savage LS400 briefly, but the GN was more comfortable for the traffic-filled commutes into work each day.
Moving further out at the end of the year so may go bigger soon :)

I enjoyed the GN as a commuter way back when but when you do trade up you will notice the wind easier to handle, you don't loose as much speed in the gusts lol.
Enjoy the banter and welcome.

Welcome Rebecca,
yup KB, the place where many an ego has been 'reduced' and/or shattered.... also the place where some ego's run riot. Good wee bike the GN, if you do look for a replacement later,, every so often a GN400 pops up on tardme, reasonable price bike, and they are a very different beastie to the 2 fiddy.... Otherwise, great wee bike the Ginny... simple, easily repairable, and robust if the basics are done.... ENJOY the windy city...

I've had her for three years in a couple of months, wow time has flown.
And I finished my BCA at Vic in Accounting and Commercial Law! Bit of a nerd but hey.

Aren't they kick start only?

Aren't they kick start only?
hahaha yes I think they are 'kickstart only' but it isnt too difficult to master, even if you are 'petite'... I had a mate in my teens who was 5ft 5in,, and owned a BSA Starfire 500 single,,, he had to either half slide of the seat, or use the kerb when stopped,,, but could still get the beezer started by 3rd kick from cold..
