I wanted one back in the 70s but I had
to make do with a cheaper jap version...

348? infact they are 305cc
just missing the air box... He says its had a motor rebuilt 500km ago...

You likely wont regret that. Great bikes. I did a bit of work on one for a guy in the late 80's, and remember it being really good to work on. It was a 247(??) that looked a bit rough, but when we got into it, it had aged really well. It had been well used, but apart from some perished seals, every thing was in really good shape, as it was really well made. And a hoot to ride. Before trials bikes got too specialised.

I wanted a 348 in the late 70s but bought a KT250 as they
were half the prise of the Montesa..

Shoulda got it dropped in at the mainfreight depot you would have it the next day and half the price.

In all fairness they can't run a van across the ditch
with one bike in it or any longer trips...
If they started that they won't be in biz for long
