Fucking turkeys eh. What other job can you get wrong so often and keep? We were told at the beginning of winter it'd be warmer and drier than usual too. Just like summer. What summer?

Maybe to you, but there are still people in NZ who haven't experienced snow falls.

Warmer? That must have been why it was only zero degrees at 8am this morning

Yeah bugger eh Big Dave, but surely you feel sorry for us. I had to walk past that bloody corner of Featherston and Whitmore Streets in Wellington today by the Z gas station. That must be the windiest coldest corner in NZ. I prepared for it wearing a jacket and my hoodie rain coat but flippin heck it was still freezing.

No thanks Merv - you can have that on your own. Still quite pleasant here for mine - although the locals need an anti-chill pill.

I couldnt have a shower this morning because all the pipes in the house were frozen, but it sounds like these guys are way worse off.

I dont think it will get there today either. At least the wind warning has gone down to 120kmh winds. I think the temp gauge the council put up in the main street has not got the balls to survive another winter.:cold:

My lot are in Brissie. Dad must be fozen, he's not rung to tell me of this natural disaster.

Last week it was a mild 1deg standing by the beach at 6am waiting for a bus. The gentle sound of waves crashing.... :thud:

Crisis over. 23c and glorious again.
Cooler evenings - Ideal riding days currently.

I even went for a cruise in lightweight gear today and nobody called me an ACC subversive.

That's cold. Coldest place I've ever lived is Hobart. The worst it got in my 5 years there there was -2c. Rode to work in it and got mild frostbite too.
