That must be the windiest coldest corner in NZ. I prepared for it wearing a jacket and my hoodie rain coat but flippin heck it was still freezing.

+1 to that.I ride there evryday and sometimes the wind just about flattens me.I've seen people blown off their feet as well.:crazy:

That's cold. Coldest place I've ever lived is Hobart. The worst it got in my 5 years there there was -2c. Rode to work in it and got mild frostbite too.
