Taped some on the KR-E today, have to figure out a more permanent solution, ideal one which doesn't involve gluing different panels to the same bit of wire...

Its a pity the clips (or whatever it is holding it on) aren't transparent.

Deliberate choice of black tape, if I went with clear there would be less motivation to do it properly!

Question. Why?

Question. Why?

Why not?

Nah, I second the question. Do they increase your visibility at night significantly? They're not to my taste but each to their own. Is it just one continuous bit of wire?

Dunno about the night, thing, haven't got the headlight sorted yet so not really that visible anyway. I just think it is cool tech, and fits the electric-bike-ness well too.

Yeah it was kind of a moot question. Styling is an individual thing. Could also be for increased visibility. But neither reasons are good enough for me to put similar onto my bike.

Ah didn't realise it was an 'e' bike. Makes it a bit more relevant now.

Yeh, I wouldn't be putting that shit on if it was still a 2T!

How is it powered? can you run them on the wheels?

12V into an AC inverter power block, so I doubt it.

You could run some round the fingers of your glove so at night we can still see the KB wave!

I think what would look cool is if you full framed the sections of the bike as if it was a basic silhouette when looking side on.

Then paint that fairing something else.

It's too bad theres no UV lights that come in strips like that. It would make your whole bike glow.

Back when and where, we had a UV light mounted center to the ceiling of the club house, with a white on black club logo mounted to the ceiling. The logo glowed down and projected. It was quite cool to see, probably cooler if a moving bike was lit up like that.

Photos do no justice, cameras don't pick it up how it really looks. Only small thumb, but you can see what I mean!
