2000 GSX Inazuma & frame engine v Bandit for crash bars?

I'm thinking of getting some crash bars for my 2000 GSX1200Y probably renntec ones. I'm presuming a bandit of the same year would the right ones to buy as engine would have the same mounting points. Does that sound right or wrong?
