Reluctently parting with my 'lil ole kwaka" Ive had this bike for about a year and got it vinned last Dec after finding it "buried" down the back of a bike shop. Took bugger all to get it going and all Ive done is to fit a new chain, handlebar guards and protectors, got all the plastics prof painted including the tank (Green as this was the last model to use this colour) I got new decals made up and fitted as well, new back tyre (Shinko 700) which works very well.

Ive used this bike on a few adventure rides now including the "Long way round" which was run by the Taupo Epic Events last weekend
(461 Bloody cold kms) and its never missed a beat. Starts first kick even in -4 deg. Will run at 100kph but slows a bit on the hills.
Im 98 kg so would go better with someone lighter. The suspension is very compliant for its age (air front forks which are standard)
Small tear in the seat and the rear guard has a bit of paint damage after the carrier came loose at one stage.

Comes with a complete KL 250B engine and trans assy, frame and some other bits from a B model, Reprint of genuine factory repair manual and genuine parts manual.

It is fully road legal with current WOF and running on a farm rego at the mo.

Send a PM if you want phone number to discuss anything.

cheers

Hiya
I've only just found this thread, but I'm restoring my KL250a4 and I'm chasing some parts, I dont suppose you have any left, even a whole bike?
all the best
