Yes well the pointy end will be a little more interesting with your hundie in the mix. Fishy with his new engine. Sketchy even mentioned he is keen to get back to where the action is. Must get fit. stupid ribs still don't work proper.

Mines together again. I have lost 4kg(personal loss) and bike is the same weight after mods so Im ready to be slightly better than last time and I can push start it by myself now(even from cold). Cant wait.

I had been 87kg for years then I weighed myself a month ago and 94.5kg
At 90-91 now just from cutting chips and lunch pies away and eating a role instead.

Inching forward with mods and repairs to our stable; Amy's new bucket (GP100) finally has folding footpegs and some resemblance of nyloning. So weather willing and the lack of a hang over from a after show party we'll be there.

So far so good. GP100 is nylon'd and we've just done decibel tests with the RG50 and GP100 both reading 88 - 95 dB depending on revs. The CBR is borderline but would be considered road legal. Lets hope the weather's good.

Stay upright and have ball. Hopefully no one gets in trouble for noise.

Anyone stupid enough to ride in this weather deserves the win.

Maybe we'll make it to the next one.

There was more than one of you dumb enough to go out in this shit?

I've only ever done one race on a bucket, and crashed twice in it.

yeah from my comfy bed it sounded miserable. It was the wifes turn to get the kids up so I stayed in bed till 7:30 & poked my head out the door. It looked miserable. Upper hutt direction looked even more miserable.

I figured it would make me miserable to be out there.

Back to bed.;)

You guys are soft. Back in my day we raced in Southerly Storms on top of a hill on the South Coast. Ahhh, the good old days of Slipway.

Fair weather pansies. We went for a wobble around Edgecumbe this morning in the wet. Bloody good it was.

Broke a wheel bearing?

Yes. Bearing became a collection of little pieces.

hmurphy
27th July 2012, 07:54
That happened to me because I was lazy. Ended up snapping my wrist and was in a cast for 6 weeks and physio for 4 months. All my bikes get new bearings these days.
