Hey all.
I got a new road project the other day and I am about to make a start on it.
It was deregistered due to cosmetic damage, and I plan to make her roadgoing again.
what I want to know is, how would I go about getting its history? Im not so concerned with knowing every oil change etc etc, but would be handy to have copies of paperwork and other information.

Is it possible to get hold of information about the accident that caused it to be dereg'd, or would I have to track down the previous owner and ask them?

is there a way to find out what dealer sold it originally? it was NZ new.

No worries. It's my rostered Monday off tomorrow, but being a sad cunt I'll be at work at some stage anyway!

Although ownership papers are history ... you can still buy a copy of a full list of it's registered owners. Take the details you have of the bike into a Post-Shop ... and pay the fee.
