Any one planning a trip through Kiwi Road should be aware it may be blocked :whistle:
Whilst out mowing the lawns at Kohuratahi today the driver of a filthy big SCANIA three decker stock truck asked if I thought he would be able to get to the Uriti road via the Kiwi Road :lol:
Despite assuring him it was not a goer he seemed keen :nono:




Its dark now :cool:
Wonder how long it will take him to back down to the Okau Road from the tunnel (if he gets up to it in the first place) :killingme

Kiwi Rds been blocked of for ages.. for logging.
:Oi: NO tunnel on Kiwi Rd ?... or Bartlets..

There couldn't be 2 kiwi Rds could there:eek5:... nar not possable..

That tunnel is on the Moki :oi-grr:
If a logging truck driver can get a load of logs out Kiwi Rd then I am off to watch that. There is no way he will get past the stock truck :facepalm:

By the way Scania`s can go anywhere ( just ask a Fonterra driver ).

Just on a slight diversion (at the risk of some pratt giving me an infraction again lol), mowed Kiwi Road last week. Bugger me its pretty skinny when your up there with a tractor that has a doofa sticking out the side. Only shat meself the once when the bank dropped slightly under a front wheel. Hooked reverse very quickly.
As for the lucky bugger on the Gold Transalper, that's not fair out playing on a school day! Get a job ya bum :msn-wink:
