Howdy all, just recently passed my full licence in Wellington(Kilbernie). Finally! Did the AA DDC 2 weeks before to get my time reduced and found that whilst I already had my 1F I at least learned some things that I think helped. Such as more awareness of signs, ultra-headmoving when coming up to streets, checking blindspots and mirrors.

Very glad to have it and my new beeortiful bike(2000 Kawasaki 1100 ZRX). I thought it might be a bit too heavy a bike to use as a city commuter but its all good. Still pretty good on gas whilst being great for a hoon. Did I mention its beautiful?

Good luck to anyone else doing their 6F, practice, confidence and awareness is key. :)

With having a ZRX1100 as a hooning commuter bike, your biggest challenge will be holding onto your license, oh and your life

Congrats bro- nice job! :headbang:

Where does the course go? Thru Kilbirnie town then out onto Cobham Drive for the speedier bit? Over in 30 minutes?

By your comments, I'm guessing the testing cop advised you to fully scan each intersection, etc...

I'm doing my full next month after having my 6R since 1998(!)... was gonna go to kilbirnie for it as well..
