Would be lovely to have the chance to ride through so much varied and beautiful country.
I have just read of a similar trip that a chap did on his Vespa 250. He took 3 months, 10,000m. Shows you dont need a ' 1200 Tourer' to fill a dream, just the right atitude. Incidently, the Vespa rider got one punture, the day after finishing the trip.
His plug repair kit didn't do the job and he had to get a tow 5 miles from his home.

So keen. Been thinking about doing this for awhile now. But not quite that extreme. 2/3 weeks. Hire a bike, LA - NY- Miami back to LA, and anywhere else inbetween.
Anyone else keen ?

Very interesting read. Planning on backpacking around Europe next year, might have to do this afterwards, funds permitting.
