Hey all,
Just joined the foums. I don't have a bike yet but have always wanted a Honda CBR250RR so am seriously thinking of finally getting one. Have also been looking at a Yamaha FZR250R. Has anyone got any recommendations for a learner? I have been riding for a very long time and the only riding I have done was when I was on the farm when I was younger. I did look at the Hyosungs but the front of them look too much like a scooter for me.

Nice, I might have to wait until October to buy a bike then.

Just looking at that list does that mean that the CBR250 will not be a LAM?

The RR might not be, not sure though. But if you get one now you may be able to get an exemption for it when LAMS comes out.

Welcome to KB. :)

I asked in the club 250s and I got this reply "all 250's will be allowed except the 2 stroke race replica's" so sounds good to me.

Every 250cc bike with the exception of the ones stated above the approved bikes list are allowed, so yes, the FZR/ZXR/GSX-R/CBR are all allowed.

Welcome to the site, enjoy.
