So, investors want to see some product interest. If you're looking for some rearsets/foot controls, these are a fucking great deal!

Tawa Technologies fitted foot controls are made differently for every rider, to your riding position. This makes the ride more comfortable, and enjoyable.

If this sounds like something you need, go through my new online shop (http://tawatech.com/store/index.php?route=product/category&path=60), and register interest by 'ordering' the type you like. If you know somebody else who might want some, let them know too please, big reach advertising is not yet in the budget...

Firstly, have you seen how much other rearsets are advertised for? And these are wayyyyyy better!

Secondly, people who help me suss out dimensions for bikes will get some discount in return, but will be chosen on other criteria like location, or mechanical aptitude, not on kb membership sorry!

Just doing rear sets?

Or you going to do forward control sets for the likes of Harleys etc..

I can send you some bits you can copy, but the kit itself is rather involved for my bike.

I am not knocking them down. I think they are trick, just that I can't afford $450USD lol No doubt they are worth every cent.

Will start off just with rearsets (start with what you know etc), but will look into other custom parts for all bike types as required.

You know, Arlen Ness really made it in the industry because he didn't worry about making real trick and unique parts.

His first produced part and best seller was a very simple part, that other people thought was to boring to bother and sell.

Yeh that would be pretty ideal, trouble is thinking of best seller simple parts that other people haven't thought of yet!

Of course there's a spot for the rear master, you can even use the stock one :p No point getting a too shiny master either, the kick plates cover most of it up.

I kinda lost the last brake side rearset :brick: so have had to put the master cylinder back (which is quite possibly int one of the most stupid places ever)... praps when I get her back on the road (hopefully tomorrow, patience pending) and iffen I can clear some time I may take a ride up that way one weekend for a fitting. If yer working weekends that is.

Put an 'order' through then, and I'll let you know when I start getting into production for your model bike.

Funny, was looking for rearset ideas and tripped over this. Oh the irony.

Guess it didn't work out then.....

Think I will just drill a shit load of holes in my stockers.

Don't worry about me mate, everything is coming up rosy, through this project I got work on a much bigger one.

Still got decent demand for these and other bike parts, month or two ago a guy from germany bought me some parts and sent em over just to help out. Hoping to get a bit more production power in my shed this week, and spend a bit of time out there over summer clearing the backlog.

What ideas were you after? looks or placement? Adapter plates are often pretty easy to make up if it is the latter. I reckon just drilling holes is quite hard to get a good look if its the former, and you can't undril a hole :pinch:

And what year would sir like these delivered? :innocent:

I need to rebuild the 4th axis on my mill for that, so can make no promises or estimates on a potential production date. And I prefer machining in the grips than knurling, looks better and seems plenty grippy enough.

Good on ya. I made up some adaptors for my Horny 900 stockers to move them up 5 back 35 mm. Sand casting was cheap for a one off job. Worked a treat. You can't beat the bling of a nice set of machined units though.

Different backgrounds aye, I look at sand casting and think it's too much work, much happier plugging away at the CNC keyboard. Might look into casting for some engine casings though, doing big stuff 100+mm deep becomes quite uneconomical pretty quick when machining it.

They look nice, pity my 1998 750 is getting out of date/demand in the market or i'd leave it with you for the winter as a template, see what goodies you come up with...
Have you thought about doing dirtbike style 'pivot pegs' DR650 riders and other adventure bikers be interested, the ones available at moment seem quite expensive for such simple part.
Your website was running a bit slow but see you are still working on it :)

Nice touch with the little shift rod extension included too, a lot of step plates just rely on you maxing out the adjustment on the stocker. Seems like quite a lot of upward movement on the 2 further back options though, pay to get out the tape/blocks etc first and make sure that range is suitable.

This whole project has been put on the backburner, tbh I haven't done anything web related in about a year except pay the bills, so I probably should update it to reflect the state of the project. Just looked at the pivot pegs, not so suited to milling for production, and tbh I don't think that price is too bad, especially considering the lifetime warranty.

Yes and no; yes if you are asking out of interest, no if you want me to help you make one :bleh:

It's based on an Opencart template, got help from a graphics design mate to suss out colors to make it look modern but also a bit distinctive, which I think worked quite well. The test now will be to see if I can make some wee changes without borking it up some.

Was asking purely out of interest. Saw the powered by 'OpenCart' thing and looked at their site, seems like a cool product.
Graphics design ( css, etc ) is hard to do and really requires someone with an arty flair ( which I don't have ).

Site layout looks good.

Considering entering the online battery market anytime soon? Give your old chum Ed a run for his money?

Yeh, Opencart has a really good backend too, and plenty of standard templates to get you going. I used Opera Dragonfly to inspect the CSS elements and identify what needed to be changed, rather than actually knowing what did what on the whole thing; easy enough to pick up with that feedback loop.

Haha, nope, I'm a design guy who does production occasionally, and retail only reluctantly.
