Had a positive experience with VTNZ this morning.
As usual I hadn't got round to organising a fresh WOF and the Rego had run out to boot.
I am endlessly away from home with work so trying to get something sorted during the week was impossible.
As a 'last resort' I took me old road rocket to VTNZ

They weren't total cocks about it!

I'd had a look over things at home before I went and figured that all sould be OK but in the past I've found VTNZ inspectors have a bit too much opinion.

Also didn't realise you could get your rego sorted there.

So, rode off into a pretty reasonable bike riding day fully legal. Nice work keeping your opinions to yourselves VTNZ fella's!

I've found the attitude you show up with ... is more important than the bike you show up with ...

Ive always had pretty good experiences there. I dont think they are as busy as they used to be either (being a function of being within the 4 avenues).

I will never again to to VINZ on Colombo street after the fuckers made me wait an hour and a quarter to give my trailer a WOF. And all these pricks came in ahead of me and jumped the queue. Including some cock in a motor home. Fuck them!

I still havent got a WOF for the scroter and thus still can't register it so will try VTNZ next week. thanks for the reminder

I used the Lichfield street one ages ago, service was good although I got pinged on a couple of things, guy gave me some space and I fixed them there and then with my tool kit and was on my way

The last few I've had done were VTNZ in Rangiora, haven't ever had a problem with them either

Took a car through Lichfield st pre quakes and found very unhappy staff....they'd just been given new time targets for WOF inspections and there were mutterings about revenue gathering.....
At the time they were the busiest in CHCH - I imagine that's changed
