Hi,
I'm Andrew, 22 years old from CHCH. I am currently doing the research part of my masters degree in Animal Physiology. I have my 6R at the moment, see more below.
I've been a member on this site for a while and have read the odd bits and bobs got some good advice.
I started riding on an '83 Gn250 drum brakes for the win. Got through my learners, and on to my restricted on that, then decided that I looked a bit comical on it, plus wasn't any good for me riding any more than about half an hour, with out getting rather sore knees etc, as I'm rather large, so applied for an exemption for my Dads (stupidly fast) '90 GPZ500.
I got the exemption, and decided that I might as well buy my own. I liked the GPZ, so I found one up north in Tokoroa within my price range. I flew up to Auckland a week later, got on a bus to Tokoroa and rode to Wellington that day stayed there overnight. Hopped on the boat, and home the next. It was my first big trip, and I had a blast! So now I currently ride a '87 GPZ500 in the white with red colour scheme.
Part of the conditions of my exemption is that I have to do the defensive driving course and get my full ASAP. I'm looking for advice as to where to go to do this, and I really need to do it on the cheap, as I have very little money on my student budget.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by
Andrew
