Cant't help you sadly, but if you do end up purchasing a bike from that guy, I'd be curious to hear how it goes. That guy ALWAYS has bikes waaaaaaaaay below normal market value. I cant figure out how he can make any sort of profit that prices he sells his bikes off at. The 250 hornet hes got up there is a good 1-2k less then any i've seen in the last 6 months.

He sold a 250 ninja the other week for 2k less then they typically go for. It was up less then a day lol.

He is a member on here, but when I was really keen on one of his listings and made every effort to contact him thru PM and TM...no ph listed, he never even had the decency to contact me,even to say the bike had been sold. His TM feedback seems good but as far as I am concerned, fuck him. [Not that I hold a grudge or anything!]

His bikes do seem to be well priced and have all been made legal etc.

Good luck with it.

Ahh, thatll explain it. He's a worthwhile trader to follow. He comes up with some really good shit at times for really reasonable as prices assuming everything gets repaired up to a high standard.

Its listed as an SV 1000 S which it clearly is not as the S has a fairing and quite a few other differences

It would be the 1st 2003 SV1000 that i have seen with a black frame, pretty sure the black frame wasnt released until 2005:shifty:(happy to be corrected though) so would be having a very careful look over it if i was interested in it.

if you had any idea how many emails i get you`d understand why the slow response in getting back to people, for example last friday night the 7 bikes i listed by sunday afternoon id had 76 emails, i always try to reply via email that the bikes have been sold. The particular bike you pm`d about had over 30 emails in the 1st afternoon listed (was too cheap but had trouble selling that style bike in the past) , and the 1st guy to email took it

Wait for him to sell something nice. They're a dreadful bike all told. Once you've drastically lowered the gearing, sorted the plank of a seat, given up worrying about dubious fuel economy, the sounds from the engine, and the interesting round town manners, they're not too bad... but really, why bother... plenty of bikes don't put you through all that. Best part about an SV1k is the same as it has always been... they're cheap. Sadly, that's the worst part too :(

sounds shakes n rattles....so long as i can fill up at Springfield and get to Kumara i dont really
care bout fuel range and seats are easy to change.

Be that as it may, I was really keen on the bike, really prompt on trying to make contact, and made the effort to pm you thru here as well. a wee "sorry its sold" would have been polite and helpful, as I[as well as others] was left in the dark....

I run a very successful onliine business and importing/exporting business.

My company gets approximately 100 emails each and every day,and I use gmail to automatically sort them from spam, enquiries, and other business emails.

The enquiries are the important ones and I have a target of answering each and every one within 12 hours max.I hit that target every day.

Its my job,and I take it seriously. If you are in business and dont communicate effectively, your customers will just go elsewhere.

If you cant communicate in a timely manner, you have a system that is not working properly, and you are losing sales.

Had an option on a swt 28000K 97 TL with usual PC and map,pac rack,TB exhaust tidy as but after upright riding position, did consider risers.... i agree they are cool n grunty.
