We've got a loncin motor in the trike and it looks like it's time for an oil change. I assume it has an oil filter, does anyone know which one?

The upright cylinder Loncins and Lifans follow the original Honda design. There's a metal gauze filter that just needs a clean and it's accessible via the big nut just underneath the left hand side crankcase cover. That's how you drain the oil too.
Then there's a centrifugal "sludge trap" that is under the right hand clutch crankcase cover that needs clearing out once in a while and you need a special spanner as it's a "castle nut" to remove it. Anyone who's bought an old Honda XR or XL (that'll be me - more than once) will know the sludge trap generally gets "forgotten" so worth checking on older motors at oil change time.

I guess the horizontal Honda copies would be similar from an oil filter point of view.
