I am SOOOO gonna watch and record this race, there semi final run was just jaw dropping to watch!...but the Heat race:eek5:...SIX! seconds off the world record!...SIX SECONDS!!!...O..M...G!

And then...there is Mahe Drysdale
...I so hope he gets redemption, its was heart breaking to see him in the last olympics throwing up before and after his race...the man is on a mission

Double sculls , dont know what all the fuss is about , it was the thing to do in my Uni days , Vodka , tequila ....you name it ,,,,,,

We even used to dance ( flaming arse dance) while sculling .....

Tables like that ought to (I think) include GDP as part of the weighting mix.

(In essence, cool when someone from a country without expensive training facilities and specialist coaches and all that has a person who just happens to be a very fast/strong/skilled/... person.)

((And, I think N.Z. would still come out well in such a table.))

Well, the antics were those of a 2yo anyway. Anyone else see the tantrum thrown by the hurdler (women's) who tripped and then threw herself on the ground and screamed and kicked about it afterwards? Entertaining (and somewhat embarrassing to see). Just like my grand-daughter (two and a half years old).
