Just bought one of these, with 70k on the clock, so I thought I would give my initial thoughts.
The first thing to note is this bike has Road Pilot 3's on it, which are the best, most predicable confidence filling tyres I have ever ridden on.
Secondly, this bike is pretty much original. It has original pipes, etc.. The only additions apart from the tyres are a pack rack and a GIVI screen.
Finally, if you want to buy one, check out the ZXROA website and the list of "issues" - and make sure the bike you buy has all or most of them resolved (there's like 15 or something).
So, the bike is great. It has smooth power through all the gears. The gearbox is a bit clunky, but its generally a good mechanical clunk, rather than a "ooh its a bit dodgy, missed the gear" clunk.
It feels responsive and light in the traffic, and the power never feels like it is uncontrollable. I haven't really had a chance to throw it into any fast twisties or big sweepers, due to the weather. However, with the RP3's I have felt always safe, without going any faster than my normal "dry weather" speeds.
My only real complaint is that at about 120km, you feel like you'd like to grab another gear. Suggestions from the ZXROA site are to drop the rear cog by 1 tooth which mostly seems to resolve it.
All in all, this bike is smooth, swift, manageable, comfortable (despite the claims the seats are not comfy), and my 5 yr old daughter rides on the back without issue.
So far.. so good.
