Anyone here is or knows someone who can use (well) Catia software?

i haven't used that software specifically but can knock up basic 3d models....

if he is asking for CATIA specifically, its going to be a bit more involved than 'knocking up some basic 3d models'!

Most of the universities teach solidworks (I think), and since CATIA is kind of solidworks' big brother, you might find a student able to pick up CATIA very quickly. But more to the point, have you got a licensed copy of it? Cos that shit is expensive!

Yup, one of the full blown all bells and whistles MCad app's, have used it but not for a long time. Most local users will be multi-seat offices, it's not really a stand alone beastie. P'raps Steveyb is looking at a new job...

And no mate, I don't know any local experts.

Its what we use here , Honda and their subsidiaries , I have an old copy but prefer open source.
