Do you think the skid pictured belongs to the bike?

I think it's too wide to be a bike tyre but there is only one skid mark in the full picture. Maybe just coincidence where he's parked the bike.

not from the bike. sides of the skid lne are too clean to be made by the convex structure of a motorcycle tyre

ahhh, the contact patch might be a bit big I think....

Bike skid marks are usually about half that width. A big cruiser could leave a patch like that but a sports bike wouldn't.

My mate and I were having a lil debate over it thats all, I thought it was too wide to be the bike tyre as well.

Would be silly to do a skid and include it in the pics you put up to sell the bike!

LOL...
Thats more like it, width wise at least..
I didn't want to include the full photo, going to check the bike out tonight.

Two R6's on TM, both listed for 10.5k, one has ohlins suspension and damper with 10k on the clock, the other 34k on the clock and no ohlins

Buy the one with Ohlins. I love mine, totally changed the ride. Make sure they are tuned to your weight though.

Oooshh I live in the vicinity! On the back of the 250? Or does you have four wheels too. According to google maps I live in chatswood which is close to highbury shops.
See how the viewage goes with the bike tonight and if he lets it go for what I wanna pay for it. Thanks for the offer..more helpful than some on here!

Did you notice in the photos that both bikes have some damage. Not much on the first bike. By the look of the tyre (the bluish tinge on the outside) and the fact it's got the extras I'd guess the second one has been on the track.
Still, of the two (without having seen them) I'd go for the second one (the one with the Ohlins0, just cause all those bit's will make it more saleable when you want to move it on in the future.
I'm pretty sure there is an R1 for sale on TM for that kind of money.

I love the description of the gravel rash "2 small scratches". Still, the Ohlins gives it the win regardless.
