I guess the extra time he takes comes out of his employers pocket so they have a right to raise it with him. Applying my HR hat though, if I was involved in this one I'd propably allow him to carry on what he's doing but on the understanding that he'd only be paid the prescribed time for the route. (My very first job was as an assisant postie during school holidays back in 1975.)

yep, a fair response I guess, but this guy is doing them a service by creating goodwill.
great to see a community get behind him in support
