Did some silly bugger leave the battery going with a points ignition and fry the coil or isn't it quite that terminal?

Won't cook anything if it's cdi ignition, unless you haven't earthed the cdi properly.

It was a good day & dry for most of it. Sadly I didn't set he world on fire with my 100, but I did have fun on the 50. Katie is getting faster all the time as is Malcom. That Choppa guy went ok too, - for a Newbi.

dry for most of it."Most" is still less than I'm happy with for road racing. Glad I was elsewhere.

Well there was already a 't' on the end of 'set' so I figured a 2nd one would be redundant:p

Well that was a fun day... I'll go buy some rust remover tonight.I wouldn't, it'll contaminate your petrol forever. Another tank or just that tank sealing shit to coat over the rust is your best bet.

You want to come borrow my tank and see if that fixes the prob before you look at other options?

If it's just crap in the tank and not rusted through see if you can clean it out. My 100 had water (black) rust, old gas, and believe it or not, leaves it it. Managed to clean it out OK and with an inline filter have never had a problem, touch wood.
