That was inspirational.
Now just need to find an old guzzi , and give it a new life
Lots of great ideas there to dwell on.

Something like this

I'd probably rather have this...

Closest you get to a factory made cafe racer Guzzi... nice....

I thought this would be more you, seeing as you're getting on in years and will soon be struggling to hold your bike up unaided

Do Guzzis have to be unreliable? I mean, they look really kewl, and presumably are not at all bland and boring, but I'm kinda used to reliability and like that there....

They're not unreliable, they're just as demanding as Italian chicks before they grow a moustache and get fat. You have to pay them attention or they turn ugly and shed bits. Then you're forever trying to dig through the horror before you, looking for that lithe and large breasted beauty who blew you at the top of the Stelvio pass after riding pillion on the seat hump of a Magni Sfida 1000.

You'll never find her, but you won't stop looking either.

errr...yeah,..what Jim said.

Admittedly you can never get that 100% trust everytime you thumb the starter button for that next ride that you get with a Honda (VFR? ;))
But you get used to that. Some people call it character,...some people call it annoyance,..but once you own one,..it changes your life on how you thought motorcycle riding was.
As I said, everytime I ride my V11, something is different. A new noise develops to replace that old noise which has mysteriously gone away.
For example,..the speedo works fine now,..but the whole dash has decided that the rubber mounts aren't quite what they used to be and has decided to move around a bit.
The good thing about the Guzzis,..although the new ones are moving away from this a little,..is that you can repair and service virtually anything on it yourself.

Gettting back to your question, Vifferman...no they don't have to be unreliable, it's just part of the purchase price...

What I took from the video was that just because the software has quirky transitions - it doesn't mean you should use them. I lasted about 15 seconds and got dizzy.
