8 o'clock this morning and NO Ernie!! Heck, if he's going to be deified, he could at least turn up. Sure it was 5 degrees, a bit foggy and his chair would probably have slipped on some black ice, but deities don't get affected but that stuff do they?
I reckon whats missing is a musical. Think about it. Christians have "Jesus Christs Superstar", Judaism has "Fiddler on the Roof", Pythonians have now got "Spamalot", but what has the Church of Ernie got?
And if there's going to be a musical, it better be plagarised from all the other ones to reflect Ernies omnipotence. This one's sung to the tune of "If I were a rich man"....

Riding in the morning
I near the Bond St bridge and then I try to see
If I can spot a derro with a chair

He doesn't have to work hard
He just stands and looks across the motorway
With a box of red beside his chair
