Yeah yeah I know, we all have that aaaahhh feeling from time to time.... Last week I got fed up with a slow leak in the rear of a set of Power Pures, so went and saw Mac at Maidstones who flipped on a set of Pilot Road 3s for me. You know how it goes, new tyres are sweeeeeet! :Punk:

It cracks me up when I look at the set of tyres that came off, the front showing some cupping, more so on the right hand side of course...bit of a flat spot in the centre. The rear does ok, but with my toy only having 90 odd hp I don't get to shred the sides of the tyre, only give it an ever squarer profile as it wears

Still, nothing that a new set of tyres can't solve huh? That sweet transition across the lean angles...need I say more? <_<

Out of interest, did you go for a 150 or 160 width rear on your Kat?

My rear wheel is 4.5 inch wide, so I went with 160/60 and only because when I ran the 150 I basically run right off the edge of the tread.

The 160 is not an issue fit wise and handles sweet as :2thumbsup

With the 160 there's maybe quarter of an inch of chicken strip left. After more than 50,000 clicks on a 160, I'm happy it's a safe choice
