Cool, would be a great commute option and relatively easy to park. I'll get Santa to put it on his list.

For a DIY, that's cool, although I don't know how you can get anywhere looking down all the time...

That's a beaut. You'd still need a pilot's license to operate?

Pretty cool.

But...
Maintenance? The average Joe Bloggs wouldn't maintain it correctly.
Landing skills? Death toll would be interesting, also coupled with above lack of maintenance...

It would be a cheaper competition to the Martin JetPack!

Holy Fuck! I'd love to see him go to, say, 20m above ground?

Or a 40mm grenade-launcher on the front like the B & C model Hueys in 'Nam.

The first machine shows more promise than the 2nd, I have one question tho',, Would you trust that toy knowing it's powered by a Chinese motor? or is it either Japanese or Korean?

Japanese. Are you saying you don't trust Japanese-built modes of transportation?! :shit:

Besides there loks to be four little motors on top there, so you have redundancies. As eash motor goes, you just fly lower and lower, that's all... which is what you'd want if the motor or motors start failing.

No, I'm saying a Jappa or Korean would be a safer bet than a Chinese motor.

:msn-wink: Just kidding, since so many of us ride Japanese made machines... Bit of irony there, I had initially thought...

But seriously though, this being a prototype, I'd be worried how safe it'd be even though it's Japanese!

No ATGATT (http://rt.com/news/hover-bike-star-wars-255/)... but could be fun, eventually.
