sootie - Today 20:04
Hi All. Finally decided to take the plunge & join Kiwi Biker. I am an older guy, so some of the technology here poses a few problems, but here goes. I have been riding since the 1960s with only a break of a few years around 1980 while I was living in UK. These days I am in to touring around a bit (when the weather is warmer!) and the odd mid week ride. Heading North of Auckland is easier than south for me, but there is more of NZ to the south, so weekends & longer trips usually go that way.
I like group rides, and the guys I ride with mostly use radio comms on the move. It is hard work to keep the gear working reliably, but it seems to increase the enjoyment for everyone I ride with. Have a look at my first Album & regards to all. Tony

Welcome!
Watch out for the internet trolls, they lurk under the surface. But if you have an army of billygoats and don't take anyone seriously you'll enjoy it here.
There seems to be a good group of oldies on here, they're helpful and nice. You just have to watch out for most of us youngens. :Punk::wings:

Ride on. :ride: You'll be sweet.

Welcome to the site. I guess we can make room for another JAFFA. (you guys breeding up there ... ???) I'm not sure if going south from Auckland is a good idea ... you have the majestic Bombay mountains to get over.

It's been pretty warm down here lately ... it's been above zero ...
