I have just seen the TV1 news article about the boy racer looser who crashed his POS race car in Dunedin last night and did a runner.

Not only was the little cunt racing, his POS caught fire, he did a runner and was found by a police dog but he has been charged with being DIC. What a DIC(k).

One less POS on the road.

To be fair ... he was trying to miss hitting a pedestrian. And hit a WALL instead.

There were skid marks ... so speed was a factor too. It can't have been that much speed involved ... as nobody died.
<_<

I followed the proceedings on their Facebook event page for a while. They don't do themselves any favours.

Pouring into town in their illegal POS cars, learner license in one pocket and clearasil in the other, they were easy pickings for the police checkpoints that awaited them. Lots of cars pink-stickered, more cars impounded, many drivers walking. Lots of sulking and "FTP" raging, which is no cure for moronic knuckle-dragging stupidity. Large numbers of nose-to-tail shunts during the "road train" type cruising. All good stuff for clearing the roads.

A few hard-core drongos are planning a reprise tonight, but it looks to be a fizzer numbers-wise.

Lay them after the skids, when they have no tread left. Much less waste.
I prefer to enjoy and help with what they do, pouring oil or something similar on the road to kill them and every other selfish imbecile with the audacity to drive on my road.

im not a major Fan of it either, but I made a goal for this year to ride it more often and nows a better time than any to start I dont go down to portobello I come up from broad bay, which is probably more of a cunt than anything else, bunch of shitty tight hairpins that just go up haha

Let your tires down a few psi then... dont let lil bumps be a sad excuse for a bad ride :p

I live out Mosgiel way and work in the city but occasionally go that way to work if I am up early enough. Not the most direct route, but quicker than 'the long way' to work via Macraes.

Ive seen a few bikes end up in the drink down that way for various reasons. actually come to think of it the last two I remember were both hondas too, and old F series cbr 1000, was one of them - that one was an accident.

if they smoothed it out, it would be quite a nice twisty 1st and 2nd cruise, youd be right in the meat of your torque all the way

Hmm Thought that. heres a cool idea, lets throw tacks and oil and shit on the road cos fuck boyracers. I bet theyd be none to happy if someone did something to affect their ride though.

Used to be a regular student race/ride to the Portabello pub and back on a Saturday in my Dunedin days.:woohoo:
Road used to be immaculate with little traffic.
Yamaha RD350s were the top bike for that road.
Bit of water under the bridge since then.

Sorry, butI must have missed that story. When did more than 400 motorcyclists form a train and purposely clog the traffic system in Dunedin?

I was impressed with the skid marks over Three Mile Hill this morning, there must have been some good drifting going on over the last couple of nights.

The parking was less impressive.

thanks for the red mate i live in Dunedin and didnt see or hear these people as i suspect 99.9 percent of Dunedin people didnt either and as for 400 odd motorcyclists clogging streets have you been on the Bronz toy or easter egg run or as Berry suggested the Hog Rally, obviously these are for a good cause but the people who are inconvenienced by these dont give a shit either way
