Leaking carb

I noticed a leak coming from a tube off my carb today, it's leaking petrol at a fairly steady rate and I'm completely stumped on what it could be as the bike is running fine.
I'm completely mechanically retarded, so does anyone have any ideas about what it could be? Attached are pics of the offending tube, and the carb in question is a Mikuni BSR36 off a 06 DRZ400SM

Edit - After a bit of google-fu, it could possibly be the float not shutting due to a rooted o ring or dirty needle seat, if this is the case does anyone in christchurch want to give a noob some assistance over the weekend for piss/smokes/whathaveyou?

Judging by the direction of the line ... it looks like a carb drain. It appears a recessed Allen screw is attached. Try a set of Allen keys on it to (try to) tighten it ... if it is a carb drain.

2. I have a workshop here, with a lift and plenty of tools if someone else ain't gonna help.

3. If you have a fuel valve on the tank, turn it off. Let it sit for a day or two. Then smear blu tack all over the carb (or where you think the leak is). Turn valve back on, turn over the engine for a minute (rev the engine a bit to). Turn off bike. Come back next day or day after. Leak will have made the blu tack runny, giving you a trail to exactly where it's leaking.

its leaking out of the tube, exactly.

Yeah, he says it's the tube then circled where the tube joins the carb.

He hasn't said if its leaking where the circle is (the joint), or if it's leaking out and draining through the tube onto the floor.

It's draining out through the tube, it didn't occur to me to mention that. It's a pain in the ass since I commute on my bike, and I'm not too keen on walking to work in the mornings.

In the meantime just turn the fuel tap to the off position when you turn the bike off.

Nip the screw up a little (carefully, you can damage the bowl over tightening them).
That's the drain and overflow hole, the overflow is simply a small pipe that sits up near the top of the bowl.
If it's overflowing while running you'll be wanting to replace the float valve and seat. Not an expensive job.
I think I have some overflow screws sitting somewhere if yours has been damaged
