Can anyone identify this rear shock? I came in a box of bits I a few months ago. I know the pic isn't the best. It's definately rebuildable. 5 way spring tensioning and gas charged. Being red it was obviously expensive at one time ;) The shaft it straight with no pitting whatsoever. Just has a bit of surface rust and alloy corrosion.

I dont think being red automatically qualifies that something is expensive. Take the example of those horrible red Warehouse edifices!
I think this may be a no name oem shock off something, but really the cost of rebuilding it thoroughly and properly would exceed its value. If the sahft is worn and / or has pit marks then it is essentially throwaway.

Sorry Bonez can't ID it. Pity it wasn't yellow. Better luck next time. ;)
