One never knows what it's actually like to ride a bike reviewed by the gentleman in question.

I dunno but I really don't think cooling was the main reason a boxer layout was chosen...
And yes - I'm still wondering what its like to ride as well....

I also suspect it isn't the emissions in Euro 4 that is causing them to look at water cooling, more likely to be the noise requirements and they want to be able to enclose the engine to reduce noise, umm, emissions.

Reminds me of the motorcycle shops in HK where the staff don't actually ride anything on two wheels at all!

Only the first 911's had a boxer engine? Really now? They didn't even water-cool them until the 996 series so he can't use that argument.

But there was all that fantastic dribble about aircraft (I scrolled past), then the amazing news of updates in 2010... and then... uh... comments?

What a pile of crap. Wikipedia has better reading about these bikes than this retired bit a drift wood.

I still crack up everytime I read the specs bit of "sequential gearbox"....
I'm waiting for a ZX-10R to come out with an H-pattern shift......

He just talked a bunch of hot air about, well, hot air really.
Maybe its just so beige that hot air is actually more interesting than talking about the ride; or maybe the old bugger just forgot...
