I know that it may be completely out of line to post something serious in a thread like this, but here it goes.
I've seen some discussions about how to advertise the motorcycle events more, to try and get some more attendance at some of the big meets. I was kinda surprised when I went to Rd 5 of the Nationals this year and there weren't hardly any spectators there at all. Granted, the weather wasn't exactly fabulous, but still. What really disappointed me though was the fact that there were pretty much no Grid Girls there. None at all! Now don't get me wrong, I love walking around looking at motorcycles and watching racing, but damned if I didn't want to see some girls around there too. Really felt like we were at a big trackday instead of a round of the National series.
How bout them GIVI girls?!?!

.....and the Superbike brolly dolly's can be fully modified while the Superstock chickies have to be stock standard.

Along those lines...........does that mean that the Supersport grid girls have to have smaller displacement than the Superbike girls????

Funnily enough the only 2 events I've seen in nzd that had brolly dollies, were a round of the classics and a mothers race day at manfield. Where they had strippers waving flags. Race starts were a disaster

I remember Wanganui had a few girls with brollies back in 2006 and I posted the pics at the time for you here http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php/41148-Races-the-important-pics-the-babes-of-course

The strippers or the starts?BOTH!
The strippers were manky as fuck, but the starts.
No grid positions, just warm up race to get on the front of the grid. Eight fuckin piece of shit Harleys then wobble up beside you, and there's ten bikes across the track on the start line.
There will be a death at that event! Hillbillies.

A good example of doing something just because its done at every other round, but not really needed at Qatar. Gotta have the brolly up to keep those killer moon rays at bay.
