Anyone know how I'm suposed to get this to work? I've got a few Fansubs of Anime that I'm trying to watch but they don't sound right. All the background noises are in the forground and vice versa...
I'm useing Winamp for the most part but just downloaded BSPlayer Pro cause it said that it worked with AC3 sound. All I get from it is video with no sound.
Can anyone help me?
Keep in mind I don't know anything about computers...

Do a google for a program called "gspot".
It's a brilliant little utility which tells you exactly what audio and visual codecs a particular avi uses.
Then just google for that codec and voila. There are heaps of all in one codec packages around and their all much the same.
When I was stuck on windows I found MPC (media player classic) to be unbeatable. Do a google for "quicktime plugin" and "realmedia plugin". add those to it and it will literally play anything you can throw at it. Also has an obscenely small footprint.

No problem. Was thinking too... if you have the right video and audio codecs installed you should be able to watch your videos on just about any player out there.

Damn good little program that. http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Real_Alternative.htm is media player classic, without all the shite real media player comes with, but can play real media files (as well as everything else).

You'll have to translate that. I don't read/speak Maori.

i reccomend the gordion knot codec pack to all, has all the codec's for audio and video files that you will probably ever need, and all in 1 installer (with many mini installers that run from it)
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/gordianknot/Gordian.Knot.Codec.Pack.1.9.Setup.exe?download
homepage for gordion knot = www.doom9.org
