Finally got a good shot of the front end (and the rest of the bike for that matter) after the work I had been doing to it. Actually nothing was that hard, the TLR forks (from a ‘03 model) swapped right in and the ZX12 brakes also are a direct replacement. Also, Kevlar lines, EBC HH pads and the larger TLR master cylinder have improved braking 10-fold over the stock TLS set-up. The forks are ~15mm shorter making the front ~7mm lower than what I originally had it set at. The TLR has completely different internals than the TLS forks, so this is more than just a ‘look good’ modification.

Cost shmost! Anyone can go out and get a new bike. A lot of folks just like to play around with what they've got! I think it's called a sense of satisfaction (or despair), having something a little bit different to the main herd. Having something thats comfortable with where you are at and fine tuning it a little - or a lot.
Nice one Bern......TL100S eh....hmmm....going for the big bore kit next

I have no problem passing on the costs...

Forks: $200 USD
Brakes & MC: $75 USD
Kevlar lines and EBC pads: $100 USD

Tad bit cheaper than buying a new bike I'd say. A lot of TL riders have been curious as to the interchangeability of the TLR/TLS front end. Now they know. (http://www.tlplanet.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10445)
