A diet and some exercise wouldn't go astray either
Although that is tidier than he is most of the times I've seen him

Very cool... Looks fairly complete as well...
Given it looks like the mag is missing and the drive is exposed do you think it stopped one day and once they found out the cost of repair it was just parked up as last used???
Whats the plan? Fully restore or wipe with an oily rag, tyres etc and get it going as found...

I've got th mag and timing chest cover it's not missing much, some of the pedalling gear and the top hat case that holds a spare tube and drive belt too.
I've had it about twenty years and just got it down off the shelf to put on display, it'll get a resto one day but busy on a chopper at the moment then have a lovely ACE four that's i'm itching to do.
This'll be a bitch to do cause of all the mongrel threads the british used.

You are so right . The British did use mongrel threads. My father was a fitter and turner , engineer and a development engineer but more importantly he was a magpie..He saved anything that maybe of use in the future and I inherited most of it.A lot I sent gave to the vintage car society but i have retained as much as i have room to store.
PM me if there is a specific bolt etc you cant find . Chances are I have it

Unlike somebody like you that carries a shaving kit with him, just in case he gets lucky at the local piano bar?
