Qualifying:

The best strategy that has worked so far for me is to qualify behind Rogan as I know I can beat him into the first corner from a better launch. So although qualifying first in streetstock would be good I always find it better to be in second. So keeping that in mind I knew I was guaranteed second as Zane and Mihi are still behind by a few seconds on the lap times. My first few laps were a bit slow due to the oil spill that was covered up on the first corner and took me a few laps to gain the confidence to got flat out round that corner. My best lap was a 1:30.863 which is a PB for me for qualifying and just behind Rogan on the grid. So was very happy with this time.

Race 1:

After coming up to the grid and not seeing Rogan I knew he had been caught by the new crack down on people being late for a race, and knew I guaranteed a win. With no challenger out front pushing me for lap times I only managed a 1:29.655 at the end of the race while toying with Aaron from Pro-lites. Due to Rogan coming third overall in the race this put me ever closer to him on the points table.

Race 2:

By just winning the race it would put me only 1 point behind Rogan and a better chance of winning the series so told myself I had to win this race. A the start lights I shot past Rogan and held it all up until the hair pin where he got me. After chasing him through-out the remainder of the laps and came up to the last corner I knew this is where i can take him so decided not to break at all for the last corner an past him on the outside round the apex of the corner running a little wide I touched the rumble strip but still managed the win and now only one point behind him with a new PB by a fraction of a second of 1:28.205.

Race 3:

With being only one point behind Rogan I knew he was gonna do everything he could to win this race. After another good start Rogan out braked me through the first corner and it turned into another chase for me through out the race but after having him slow me down through the last two corners I decided to over take him again round the last corner but this time might have been a lap to early and beat me into turn one, I tried again on the last corner on the last lap but left it just a little to late and got beaten by 0.082 of a second. But the race gave me a new PB again of 1:27.930 which is now about 1.5s off the lap record and with only 4 points difference between Rogan and me and the next round being a two day meet there are gonna be big points up for grabs and will have to try as hard to gain the win.
