Hi All,
Is anyone doing this? I have not riden for a few months and was thinking i could ride this. Good way to torture yourself and get back to riding again.

That race hurt, mint track, a great race, I like the idea of a two hour option next year.
Hope no one got footage of my offs, some decent ones and a certain member of kiwi biker was laughing way to hard seeing the after effects of my fourth lap one

Yep, the forth lap made everything hurt. Great track, no place to rest on it though.

Yes it was very comical to see a little hand and then a head suddenly pop up from behind a log.
I didn't quite see the off but the after effects had me giggling for a while. How the hell did you turn turtle on that?
Good effort Nigel to dig out that last lap.

About the 2 hour option... I think that it would make the event a non event in a way. I mean it is the "Toad" and it could go the same way as the T100. In the T100 the tracks have become too fast and too easy hence they only got 167 riders last year, 250 in 2010 compared to 454 in 2008(the legendary T75).
After 2008 heaps got the pip with it as it was far to open and when they closed the race early, well, it ceased to be a technical challenge anymore.
I kind of like the way it is as with smaller numbers the track doesn't get a hammering like other bigger events so it makes it really good for the whole race.

I tried to use a mound to the left to semi jump it, instead of turning right and going over straight on to the log as every lap before, playing basically, problem was ass end kicked more than I expected as it hit the log on an angle, pointing me straight at the stump on the other side I'd forgotten about, what I did then who knows, panic i guess, but I face planted. Then I heard you coming and damned if I was going to be ridden over to add insult to injury ! ;).
Thanks for that tony, I was going to pull out, but thankfully a lady came over fed me some of the food I had there and gave me some encouragement/advice, really glad actually as I seriously enjoyed my last lap.
